It really shouldn't be a decision between these two options--you can continue either flutamide or spiro AND take Glucophage. Most REs here in the US prescribe spiro in conjunction with Glucophage (met). This will definitely give you a more effective way to treat your symptoms--the met itself lowers the amount of insulin in your body (the root of this condition) and will eventually take care of the "hair issues," but the spiro (or flutamide) only treat the symptoms of the "hair issues." So you're much better off getting to the root of your problem with the met, but you can use either spiro or flutamide in conjunction with it to more quickly control the hair growth and/or loss.
