My Dr. put me on 3ampules of gonal-f beginning on day 4 of my cycle. On day 8, ultrasound revealed 1 follicle at 8mm and I was told to come back on Monday morning for more blood work and ultrasound. My husband continued to inject 3 amps everyday as directed. On Monday am ultrasound revealed I had 18 follicles!!! and my meds were stopped. I went every day for estradiol level and ultrasound and they all continued to grow! So on that Thursday (day 13) we had 7 mature follicles and 11 immature ones. We had to cancel the cycle because of risk of multiple pregnancy and Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome.. Next cycle my doctor will try a very low dose over a longer period of time.
