I am not sure why your dr would go up that high, you might ask, sometimes they do not keep accurate records or charts get swiched and you are accidently given the wrong infomation or prescription, I know my regular Endocrinologist was always trying to give me spiro, and I had to keep telling , no we are TTC. My new RE starts at 100 mgs instead of 50 because she said she has had better succes with that and wastes less time so maybe they really think you need a lot more help, was your progesterone low before? Good luck.
