For Dr. Sam: unruptured follicles

Thanks for your reply, Dr. Sam! I am concerned about the spiro. I have only taken it for 3 days. Do you think I should stop?

To clarify, they said I ovulated on clomid because my progesterone levels went from a 7 to a 35. After the 4th month on clomid, they did an ultrasound and noticed the follicles were big beyond the 14th day. They told me I have a condiditon called LUFS. So from the 5th month on (this is the 7th), I have received an HCG shot after they check the ultrasounds. I had one yesterday, and it was only the 10th day of my cycle. I had one follicle on the right (25mm) and two on the left (33 mm and 30 mm).

Sometimes I wonder if we are on the right track, especially after the doctor prescribed me spiro while TTC! I truly appreciate your encouragement and knowledge. Thanks! Fernanda >
>Hi Fernanda,
>There are several points to clarify. You say you ovulated on clomid, but the new doctor said that your follicles didn't rupture. But this is a clear contradiction as ovulation is follicular rupture. How was ovulation diagnosed earlier?
>As I pointed out earlier, infertility treatment is no F1 race, as there is only one ocasion to get pregnant each month. Completely healthy couples have approx. 85% chance to get pregnant in 12 mo. So 7 mo is just the beginning.
>Looking forward to your answers
