It's very painful and for me is usually associated with thick hairs popping up in my sideburn area. I recently went to a dermatologist about this and he put me on BenzaClin and Differin. I apply the BenzaClin every morning and the Differin before bedtime. I have seen a change in my skin texture and a reduction in the acne.
