I agree with a previous reply in that Glucophage XR seems to be better
for side-effects. I have taken it for about a year and I had GI
problems for about six weeks but now I'm fine. One other suggestion
would be to watch what you eat. If I eat a lot of sugary or fatty foods
(junk food) I will have diarrhea big time. The medication will let you
know when you don't eat right. Hang in there!
