Hi Sandra,

This is how one piece of misinformation (metformin decreasing the effectivity of BCPs - Dr Chudacoff) may disturb people herre. I have to reiterate, that metformin does not influence the effectivity of BCPs (cf my earlier letter on the same topic) and Diane is as safe as any other combined type of contraceptive, which are among the safest forms of contraception. As for jelly stuff, it is a very crude sign of ovulation, therefor it does not mean that you are ovulating while on Diane. For your info
