Also, as Sally asked, was your sister ever successful in having a live baby? I've heard that PCOS puts you at a higher risk of miscarriage due to hormone differences in pregnancy. There is one hormone in particular that should always be monitored in a PCOS pregnancy because it often decreases to the point a pregnancy cannot be sustained. Perhaps this is what has happened with your sister. I can't recall for sure exactly WHICH hormone it is....(PLEASE HELP HERE, LADIES!!!)....but maybe someone else can provide this.
