Hi April,

I just switched to Dr. Kimberly VanScriver, who is an ob/gyn at A Woman's Place (located at Baptist hospital, downtown). She was great - a lot better than my last doctor! She talked to me about my symptoms for about 15-20 minutes before my exam. I stopped taking the pill (Lo-Ovral) last summer after 10 years of taking it. My symptoms since stopping the pill got worse & I really wanted to start back on it again. She prescribed Yasmin for me & gave me 2 months of free pills to try them out to make sure I didn't have any problems while taking them. She also had no problem giving me a prescription to Vaniqa & talked to me about electrolysis & laser hair removal. Last, she ordered full blood work to check on my hormone levels.
