Hi,

You can check on my site or on PCOSA's website. As for the pill, there are lots of anti pill people out there. If your goal is avoidance of pregnancy, and you aren't having any problems, why fix what isn't broke? Try asking this on the women's health forums where a doctor answers this. You might also want to try several doctors and see what their answers are. You can always try both together.

Bottom line is that there is a lot of medical advice on the internet that isn't sound medically. If you don't believe the pill is for you, but you don't want any more children, are you and your partner willing to deal with condoms, IUD's, etc. that may have a greater chance of you getting pregnant?

Hi,

Does anyone have any suggestions on a doctor in the Jacksonville, Florida area. After reading some of these posts I'm am more confused than ever about the right meds to take and whether to stay on birth control. Right now I take Ortho-tricyclen and have no side affects (that I know of) from it. I know I don't want any more children but I'm afraid to put a permanent stop to that just in case I change my mind. I like BCP's but if they aren't good for PCOS then I'd rather not take them. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
