Hi,
Metformin is becoming a staple in the treatment of PCOS. Your doctor is
on the right approach. However, metformin is possibly a drug for
long-term use, not just one cycle. Some women get immediate benefits,
but some take several months or more, treatment benefit also depends on
the dose. For those women who miscarry as a result of PCOS, metformin
also shows some promise in the prevention of miscarriage.
Use metformin as a key word and do a search on this forum. You will
come up with heaps of information.\
