Ovcon is a BCP. It comes in two strengths, 35 and 50 (micrograms?) Generally, the lower estrogen levels are better.

It has the usual BCP side effects. For some people, there are effects on mood, weight, etc., but like with any other pill, everone experiences it differently. I've had no problems whatsoever.

There are no androgen-blockers in it. I take spiro also for that effect. I had decided to try Yasmin after it came out, since there was a good buzz about it being good for PCOSers due to the new progesterone that is related to spiro. I figured it was worth a shot. Many people have loved it, but it didn't work for me.
