Aloha!
I'm in the same boat. I was diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 13, I'm
now 26. My husband and I are anxious to start a family and I'm about
2.5 weeks into the Metformin treatment. I'm happy to say that my cycle
is on track - exactly one month to the day I started my new cycle!
I also suffer from all the effects of PCOS, weight control problems, and
hirsutism - but the Metformin has helped in ways I never thought would
be possible. I've lost some weight on it, and I'm not so tired anymore.
I'm hoping to get pregnant in the next couple of months - I'm trying to
stay positive - that's half the battle.
I did have some minor side-effects from the Metformin, but nothing to be
alarmed about. Hopefully this does the trick!
Stay positive - relax and most of all ... have fun trying!:)
Malama Pono, (take care)
