Hi Teresa and thanks for responding: 1)When this happens,NO,I don't feel as if I cannot breath. The breathing issues happen when I exert myself. 2)Cannot take any antihistamines or benedrl for mine...there is something in some meds that is hard on my heart.Same with sleep eez...an over the counter sleeping aid, which is the same as an antihistamine. They will make my heart pound even harder and faster. 3) I live in Winterpeg(Winnipeg),very cold here....so,I cannot find relief from coolness or even drinking some cool water which is supposed to help. Mine seems to happen after eating almost anything.I just get weak.....almost feel as if to faint and lose strenght. Also happens during my showers, which I changed now to pool temperature. They just hit me right after eating...about ten to twenty minutes after...does not matter whether it is low car....high protein.....they still happen...then of course,I panic..the discomfort is untolerable. Then all of a sudden there is a change in mine....I go the same as you...where there is no way the doctor can keep track...that's why I have another cardio diary and have numerous holtor monitors. I stand up from a sitting position....my heart beat goes so slow....then at times...I have actually taken a fall, but not lost consciousness....only once. I don't think this is allergy related.Happens as soon as I wake up as well. Seems though,,that when I drink a whole big glass of water,...the beats are even quicker. I just don't know! Driving me nuts,as well as leaving the doctors scratching their heads.
