doctor in mass areaFrom: nicole (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 12 Mar 2002 10:02:16 -0800 (PST)
I do not have any information on a doctor in the Mass. area but I thought I would let you know that I was just diagnosed with PCOS in Charleston, SC. and I have found a wonderful doctor here who has started me on metaforin and will proceed with clomid if my periods start to become regular. she is really wonderful and maybe she would be able to help you find a doctor where you are that is on the cutting edge but very safe and actually listens to everything you have to say. It has been my experience that this is almost immpossible to find in the medical community anymore. You could try to contact here and see if she has a method of tracking down a good OBGYN in your area. I am sure she would be glad to help. Here name is Dr. Lara Corbett, her number is 843-971-4507. I am very excited about finding her. I am not joking she is great. She said that research has shown that woman with PCOS respond wonderfully to this drug even it they do not present with insulin resistance yet. Also, she said there is a 90% success rate in pregnancy when clomid is added after the cycles have become regular. Good luck, let me know if it was helpful. I will post on my progress Nfagala@yahoo.com Try FREE Yahoo! Mail - the world's greatest free email!
