I've been taking prednisone(5mg.) along with glucophage(1500mg.) for almost 4 years now. I've also been trying to conceive (and maintain the pregnancy) for the past three years and I have also taken (and conceived) on clomid. I have my levels checked every 4-6 months and so far they have all in the normal ranges since I first began. My doctor is now talking about lowering my prednisone to 2.5mg and checking my levels after 3 months to see if it makes a difference.
