Hi!

Cushings is a problem somewhat (and I emphasize "somewhat") similar to PCOS and one of its symptoms is stretch marks. Your doctor can test for this to rule it out. Also, have your thyroid tested.

Also, you did say that you gained about thirty pounds. I got stretch marks from gaining weight when I was your age and many people do especially when they're young and their skin is still really tight. Your skin is stretching because it has to since you're getting larger. If your stretch marks are caused by weight gain they will usually appear where your body has expanded the most and for many this starts in the lower abdomen or stomach area. Stretch marks do fade with time eventually to white. Hope this helps! Take care! God bless! Tera
