You should not be on a tri-phasic pill though. You should be on a monophasic pill. Triphasic pills allow the continued formation of ovarian cysts whereas the monophasic pills put a stop to it.

Just be wary of how your life may change drastically when going off the pills. I was on them for three years and I have never been the same since going off them. My thyroid went insane, my body went insane, it is still in recovery. (I'm hoping there will be a levelling off point.)

I will never go back on birth control pills. I can't believe what they did to me.
