Re: Metformin Side Effects??-- another question for anonymous

I take Orthocyclen, which works well for me, and I am on weight watchers, with an emphasis on low carbs and exercise. I'm losing weight, too. It's harder than losing on the glucophage, but it is a steady 1.5 - 2 pounds per week. I feel better. And my scalp hair is slowly coming back. Glucophage is good for some, but I think it's dangerous to think it's the "answer" to everyone's PCOS. There are too many of us out there, with individual bodies and metabolisms for one thing to "have" to work for everyone. It clearly didn't work for me. And I've been dx'ed with PCOS for 12 years.
