HI, I am supposed to be taking 1500mg of Metformin (for the last 2 years)but it makes me feel so horrible that I never continue taking it.I start whenever I feel that I might be able to limit my activity so the running to the bathroom (IMMEDIATELY after eating or drinking anything) episodes are not so embarrassing!(it never seems to work though I always discontinue taking it) So I went on the Shoppers Drug Mart website today to see the list of side effects and they are...unusual tiredness, weakness, stomach discomfort, muscle pain, breathing trouble, feeling cold, dizzy/lightheaded, and slow or irregular heartbeat.
