I do know that women with extra testosterone can have deeper voices - so
I would suppose there is a chance that any disruption in horomones could
cause vocal changes. Perhaps your horomones are out of wack and you
could have your levels tested by an endocrinologist and see if anything
fishy is going on.

It was so intense that I'd stay up scratching until I fell asleep from sheer exhaustion. This stayed with me until about 4 to 6 weeks after she was born. The doctors explained it was basically an allergic reaction to the hormone difference of pregnancy. That's a much simplified explanation, and they said it's somewhat unusual but not that totally uncommon....although neither my doctor nor his partner had ever seen it before me. (LUcky me....such a novelty...hehehe). As my hormones returned to "normal" after the birth of my daughter, the itching stopped. I didn't, however, have this happen when I was pregnant with my son 8 1/2 years later.
