Not totally sure, but I think Ibuprofen is cleared through the liver and
Yasmin (becasue it has a diuretic effect)can be hard on the liver and
kidneys. The progestin in Yasmin can cause a change in the salt, water,
and potassium levels in the body. It was my understanding that you can
still take Ibuprofen and that Yasmin is not for people who take
Ibuprofen daily for some other medical reason. So if you take Advil for
a headache every once in a while, I believe it's okay. I'm sure this
isn't the best answer so I'd love to hear others.
