>Hi Michelle. There are as many different approaches to this condition as there are women who have it. It's important to find the right one for you, and to get as much info as you can about what's actually going on with YOU. In response to your major concern, having children...yes, of course, lots of women, myself included, can have children! I had our first child spontaneously, down to sheer luck, as I do ovulate "sometimes". When we decided to go for another child, I went to my fertility specialist in hopes of upping the odds a bit, since ovulating "sometimes" doesn't give you the best chance. I was officially diagnosed with PCOS, though I'd known something was not quite right since puberty. I opted for Clomid, which worked perfectly well and resulted in our second child. Next time, the Clomid did not kick off ovulation so I went to a medical herbalist who prescribed a course of herbs to take alongside the Clomid. This combination gave us our third child.

Have faith, get all the information you need to come to a good (and probably constantly evolving) plan of treatment , and best of luck to you
