For some of us, I think it's the progesteone component that makes for
higher blood pressure, which can bring on - or perhaps just amplify for
those already so-inclined - things like anxiety and heart racing. I
know that's the case for me. On a lower progesterone pill, I'm fine.
Once it's higher, it's not. And because Yasmin is so new, the
progesterone strength is not able to be easily compared with other BC
pill compositions.
