Thanks for the advice. That's exactly what I wanted to know. I see my endo next month. I have a two hour trip to see her so I can't always go to the doctor right away. I've been on aldactone for quite a few years and I thought that since it can help you retain potassium that I would be safe. Tonight I had a big plate of lightly steamed green beans and I'm checking out what other foods have potassium so I can include them in my diet. I was wondering if calcium was a problem too. I know that it's a good idea to take a supplement as you get older. I'll definitely ask or inform the Dr. that I'm taking supplements. So should I be taking more calcium?
