Re: YasminFrom: Andrea (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 20 Feb 2002 22:50:01 -0600 (CST)
I first starting using Yasmin in August, 2001. It was a little hard to get use to for a month or two. Now, symptoms are very easy to predict. For exampe the first week my breast are large, and I can't sleep for about 2-3 days. I also have headaches on and off during the day. The next week is better, and the third week I get a little depressed, and cramping. The fourth, my period starts on Thursday of the white pills (Sunday start). I think is great for 20 years I didn't know when, or if a period would start. My face is clear, no spotting in between, and have lost about 10 lbs. I have heavy bleeding the Sunday of my period, two hours of church is too long. Instead of seven days, periods may last 5-7 days. I sometimes have blurry vision, and night sweats, but they have gotten better. I'm not sold on it yet. Provera was much easier with less symptoms, however, I don't want to get pregnant. I still have hair on chin, and tags. I will keep taking Yasmin, until next appointment in 6 months.
