Hi everyone- I am an American cyster living in Scotland. I've been "lurking" for awhile, and I am so glad to have found this support. PCOS has been making itself felt with me for many years, but I was determined to have my family...About Clomid- yes, for us it was a godsend. I had my first child perfectly naturally, all down to good timing (ie, luck!!) then when we decided to go for #2, I knew that having periods maybe 3 times a year wasn't going to give very good odds. I went on the lowest dose of Clomid, and conceived #2 in the second cycle. Next time, however, it didn't kick off ovulation for me so I saw a registered herbalist (here in Scotland, they are very good, plentiful and reasonably priced!). She recommended a course of herbs to be used along with the Clomid, and this resulted in my third child! I now have other issues to resolve with the PCOS, and will be reading posts regularly..... but thank God everyday for the blessings I 've had.
