My doctors started me at 500mg of Glucophage and I am now at 2000mg a day. The side effects have gotten a little better but it is not perfect. My question is this... I recently had foot surgery where the bone was broken and placed together with pins. It has been about 3 months and the regrowth of the bone is not occurring. Does this slow healing time have anything to do with the insuline resistance? Thanks for your help.... If anyone else has had something similar please share!!!
