I have never heard of any synthetic form of iodine. Kelp,to my knowledge,is iodine. All I do know is that it is seaweed. I suppose that I am making a big issue out of nothing, and am sorry to bother you with the question. I am assuming, that with my condition, and my doctor who is extremely well informed on vitamins, minerals and herbs-that I should just take the vitamin,as he reccomended that brand specifically for me. Thank you for for your honesty.
