Hi All,

I just wanted to write a note to offer some hope for people TTC. I was diagnosed a year and a half ago with PCOS while TTC. First I was told it was SIMPLE to fix and my gyne. put me on clomid with no result or period for that matter!! My saving grace was reading these posts and finding a good endocrinologist who put me onto Metformin. I have had no side effects and have never felt better - and after 10 months of no periods I finally got 2 periods 30 days apart (I felt like a teenager again!). I have since found out that I am 7 weeks pregnant. My question to anyone is my Dr was told me to take the Met until 12 weeks to lower the risk of miscarriage. Has anyone else done this? and were there any side effects to their baby. My thoughts are with you all who are TTC (don't give up). Thanks
