Dear Doctor Sam,

I hate to ask this silly question when I have the internet at my disposal and also the A-okay from my doctor to be taking Kelp in my multi vitamin, but I am a bit concerned about it.

Since I have had problems and do have some problems with my thyroid....is it wise to take a vitamin with 10mgs of kelp in it?

I certainly don't like to question my doctor's advice on this vitamin supplement that I have been taking, but would appreciate your advice.

>From what he told me and from what I have read;kelp seems to have a
normalizing effect on the thyroid gland, thus making obese people lose weight with it's use and thin people gain weight with it's use.As well as it being very high in other trace elements and vitamins etc. Do you think it is okay?

Your advice would really be appreciated,as I really am afraid to go more hyperthyroid again.

Sincerely,
Barbra Camara
