Yasmin vs Diane 35

I've been reading the posts about Yasmin. I started taking Diane 35 a year ago mainly for symptoms which most of you mentioned (acne & hirsutism). I believe the Diane has a fairly strong amount of antiandrogen in it (cyproterone acetate).

I'm wondering if the Yasmin is AS strong or perhaps stronger than the Diane in this regard. I know the Yasmin contains a derivative of spironolactone (another antiandrogen) which is apparently weaker than the cyproterone acetate.

I'm asking because my skin is still not fabulous nor is the hair growth (chin mostly). If the Yasmin is stronger than the Diane, I will try it.

I do take spironolactone (200mg a day) as well. I'm starting to fear my symptoms will never be completely alleviated.

Anyone have any advice or knowledge about this?
