Dear Dr. Sam,

Thanks for your response - we all really appreciate your input. I had been having 1 day periods every 6 or eight weeks before starting Diane-35. That had been going on for probably two years....I am not sure the exact duration. The reason I started researching is because they were getting noticeably shorter .... plus all the other symptoms and weight was getting much and rapidly worse (despite very strict dieting).

I used provera to successfully start a period (that lasted about 3 days) before I started using diane-35.

Another Question: is it suitable to use provera while also using diane-35? If the endometrium is really thin there is obviously no risk of build up / cancer? Is this right?

Thank you again!
