Resend this attachement to whom?

This was all over the news today in Canada. This is the latest virus stating "pictures from my party". Do not open the attachments. Always scan your attachments before openening them. I received the virus too,but when I scanned the attachement for a virus-Norton-Anti-Viruse detected a virus,so I just deleted it.If I would have opened it before scanning,as I have done with some files that didn't allow the option of scanning first-Norton puts the infected file into quarentine.

Rule of thumb to follow,is not to open up any attachements unless you know who they are coming from.Always safe than sorry.

It was not the intentions of the so called sender-the virus attaches to all in in your address book and sends it's self.

HOpe this helps,as I assume that since we are all on this forum-that it was an easy target.
