Hi,

Just wanted to add my 2 pennies about Yasmin because I'm so grateful others here had done the same when I had questions and concerns. Many people have posted that Yasmin was horrible for them, but I'm so glad I tried it for myself.

I've only been on it for three weeks, and already I have amazing reduction in acne (skin is free of all cystic symptoms and nearly clear of black/white heads) and even better reduction of hairloss. I have tons of fine, curly/wavy hair that used to come out in clumps every time I tried to comb conditioner through in the shower. Even after the tangles were out, it would just keep coming out as long as I kept pulling the comb through. After Yasmin, only the normal shedding was there, and I could actually run the comb through after detangling with no additional hair showing up in the comb.

Plus, I've lost about six pounds of water weight:)Okay, the first week I found myself stumbling into the bathroom in the middle of the night against my will, but I don't have that problem anymore, well not at night. I do need to make frequent trips to potty. Letting go of excess water is worth the extra trips.

I do get a mild headache just after taking it, but that's because I take it in the morning instead of at night as suggested because I'm afraid I'll forget to take it if I'm preoccupied or sleepy. The headache is shortlived, about 1/2 hour then just goes away on its own after eating breakfast.

I might be more sensitive right now, but knowing that it is BCP related helps me to keep things in perspective. I think of it as medical moodiness instead of emotional drama.

Lastly, I got my chin and lip waxed a week ago, and only one little hair has dared to peak out on my chin since then. If it's this good now, I can't wait to see what will happen after a few months of treatment with Yasmin.
