Dear Stephanie,
The glucophage is probably going to be medium to long-term treatment
(and ideally in conjuction with diet and exercise) so don't give it up
just cause you are feeling better and the symptoms are going. If you
stop taking it it is possibel that all the old symptoms will come back.
As for the provera - it is only needed if you dont have regular cycles
and it will do nothing for your weight.
Be patient with the weight loss. This does take time. Continue to be
conscious of diet and exercise - you are on the right track. This PCOS
is long-term, unfortunately though it can be managed very well.
Hope this helps
