Christa, I have hypothyroidism also. I was diagnosed with it at an early age (14). I am now 29 and on synthroid. My dosage changes often so please keep up with it after you start the medicine. I also have just recently been diagnosed with PCOS. I wonder if they are related? It seems a lot of people have both...
