Louise-

I have been taking Diane 35 (same as Dianette, I think) for 1 year now. While my skin has improved to some degree, my acne is still a monthly regularity and my skin has NEVER gotten to the point of normal. I am still unable to not wear makeup to cover blemishes.

I am starting to thing I have a thyroid component to my PCOS (I believe my thyroid is underactive). I have been taking glucophage for a little longer than the Diane but obviously that has not helped my symptoms either. It did help my weight, but not my skin or excess hair growth.

I am at a loss for answers as well.
