Yes,I still do have ascites.
Wasn't it the cyst mistaken for ascites? Wasn't the contens of the cyst
after the puncture spilled over in the pelvis presenting as ascites? But
I have never seen a cyst even large ones causing edema in the ankles.
No,the cyst wasn't mistaken for ascites.The contents of the cyst after
the puncture just made me bloat a little more.
I have had ascities for over two years now.
Yes,I understand that a cyst will not cause edema in the ankles.
I understand now,that when the right side of my heart was not working
properly,,early phases of CHF,that it was normal for me to be
experienceing ankle edema,and swelling in my abdomen,and was given
diuretics,but they had made me very ill,therefore,I was on fluid
restriction.It never helped the pitting edema in my ankles.Now,I have
seen yet,ANOTHER Cardioloigst that had given me more advanced tests with
my heart,eg:stress and rest muga tests,treadmill tests,and
echocardiogram,which showed the Ejection Fraction of 70.I was told that
my heart is normal now...I am sorry to say,but I just cannot believe
that my heart is normal just because my EJ is good now,as I am still
getting the pitting edema in my ankles(suggestive again of CHF),and the
ascites,again-representing the heart problems.Can YOU just give me your
opinion as to whether or not the EJ represents a heart without problems?
I tend to disagree with the cardiologist.I know that something is still
wrong here with my heart,as with another holter monitor,showing
taccycardia,then bradycardia.I was told that SOMETHING ELSE,were causing
my heart to do these things.I agree to an extent,but was also told it
could be my pituitary malfunctioning...again.I don't inderstand.

Thank-you Dr. Sam,I do know that Lupus is the great mimic of alot of
diseases.
This tends to leave me somewhat in the dark,as to my overall health
status.
If I do have PCO/PCOS,,to me,I don't quite understand the
difference....but is it possible that my Insulin Resistance can be
causing these heart problems?/symptoms?
Doctors,are very vague when it comes to them telling me what is
wrong...as they don't seem to know themselves.
