Hi Barbra,

I am just a poor gynecologist... but there are several problems here. Do you still have ascites? Wasn't it the cyst mistaken for ascites? Wasn't the contens of the cyst after the puncture spilled over in the pelvis presenting as ascites? But I have never seen a cyst even large ones causing edema in the ankles. Lupus is also complicating your case and I am no expert on lupus, but it can mimic many ailments. These are the only possibilities coming to my mind.
