Hello Sujatha, I realize that sometimes Dr.Sam doesn't have the time to respond to all messages..and please pardon me if I am intruding here. I just want to offer some advice till he can give his expertise on the subject, but coming from another woman who always ovulates;I am hoping this helps. Discharge varies with a women's cycle. The complete white stickly stuff you describe does not sound like ovulation, rather just a part of the menstral cycle discharges from the cervix. Mine tends to be complete white, just before onset of menses. It is certainly nothing to worry about.Could be suggestive of your period coming.I have had that all the time with my periods,as long as I can remember. When you do ovulate(that's about the only thing that I can get done here, without ever carrying to term),it is like egg whites-it is slippery and more or less a clear color. An easy way to test it-is to hold between your fingers and it stretches.Sometimes you can feel it drip down your legs, other times, you will wipe after going to the washroom, only to find it quite slippery down there. Also, your temperature will rise upon ovulation, another indicator. Ovulation tends to occur at different times for different women, mine is always on the eleventh day of the onset of menses. It can last for a day or a few...a;; depends on the person. Everyone is different thought. I understand now that alot of women cannot ovulate-I am fortune to say-that I do and always have, but still have never carried a baby to term.I have had several miscarriages. As for the Metformin-I am not sure how long it takes to work. I am certain that other women can explain that to you. Also, when ovulating, you will tend to feel little pains(more of a nuisance, than anything),in your ovaries.Almost feeling as if a period will begin, but without any cramping. I hope this helps you till Dr. Sam is able to answer your question. Take care and try not to worry-I can almost assure you that the discharge that you speak of is completely normal vaginal discharge.
-- Sincerely, Barbra Camara
