Question about a med that I cannot remember the name of.. Hello Ladies, I was at the doctor's this afternoon and he had done more blood work etc. Anyways,he is awaiting the results of my DHEA"S again and said something to the effect that he would most likely be putting me on a med to control the Dhea's.,and that it was anti-fungal,so to speak. He said he has had success in treating patients with this. I wish I would have written the name of the med down. I am having morning,afternoon and evening cortisol tests done on Monday as well---AGAIN,,,,(SIGH),then I supposed he will try me on this med. His concern was,that he hopes that I don't get completely exhausted from it making my adrenals slow down...therefore,he thinks I will really get frustrated,as my energy seems to be purely that of adrenaline. Any input might help.I am just wanting to know the name of the med to research it a bit.I know if I hear it-I will remember the name.
