Hello Dr. Sam,

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate your time. Are you saying that the decreasing androgens can contribute to low energy? If this is so, how to treat?

When I increase met to 2500 mg/day, I definitely have hypoglycemia. My main problem is that I can not lose weight on 2000 mg/day. How could I gain energy and lose weight without inducing hypoglycemia?

Time matters more. If you improved on 2000 mg/day why to increase to 2500? The tiredness may be indicative of hypoglycaemia (low sugar) or decreasing androgens (which usually give energy, but is in excess in PCOS). I would run lab tests to clear up this problem.
