Hi SusieQ,

There is a ,isundeerstanding with the dose of metformin. I think it is absolutely unnecessary to increase the dose over several weeks, because the insulin imbalance is not as bad as with diabetics. Time matters more. If you improved on 2000 mg/day why to increase to 2500? The tiredness may be indicative of hypoglycaemia (low sugar) or decreasing androgens (which usually give energy, but is in excess in PCOS). I would run lab tests to clear up this problem.
