Thank you for your elaboration, but you are simply wrong.
The disease we are talking about and most of you have started as Stein-Leventhal syndrome (1930s), after the two US gynecologists, who correctly established the most important symptoms: overweight, hair growth, menstrual irregularities, infertility and they also realized that the ovaries are white, enlarged and contain lot of cysts. It was later recognized that these women may later become diabetics and get endometrial cancer.
Sometime in the 1970-s it became a fashion to name syndromes after their characteristics hence the name PCO which was later further expanded PCOD (disease) or PCOS (syndrome).
What you beleive to be PCO is simple ovarian cyst. Cysts in PCO(S) hardly ever burst, because they are to small. Would they burst, there were not so many of them.
