Re: cramps after clomid and glucophageFrom: Sue (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 21 Jan 2002 16:09:13 -0600 (CST)
>Could it be implantation thats causing the cramps?Maybe it could be that the glucophage is restoring my cycle?< I don't want to get your hopes up unnecessarily, but mild cramps are pretty common at the very beginning of pgy. I had them each time (I've m/c 4 times and am currently about to deliver my first child), and several girlfriends (who don't have PCOS) had them when they were first pg. If you aren't pg, then cramping is pretty normal for those who have 'regular' cycles. Apparently (so says my RE), cramping is a sign of ovulation, and one way they knew that I've had problems since puberty is that I never had cramps--clinically, something they look for in classic anovulation.
