Actually, Eulexin is the brand-name for flutamide...flutamide is a potent anti-androgen. I have seen some studies where it has been more effective than spironolactone for hirsutism. It is rarely used in actual practice for PCOS, though. I am not sure why it isn't used more often, although it is VERY expensive (around $250/month vs. spiro at around $25/month.) I was always interested in trying it, though!
