Dr. Sam - Metformin and Actos

Hi Dr. Sam,
I have been taking 2000 mg/day Metformin for 15 months. I can not
tolerate the side effects of 2500 mg/day (headache, nausea, dizziness).
I am improving many of my symptoms, but still am tired most of the day.
My RE suggested combining Actos with Metformin to improve my energy
level. What do you think of this prescription? Do you have any other
suggestions for my continuing tiredness?
