I'm sure Dr. Sam has already answered this, but I wanted to jump in and point out something. Having PCO is *totally different* than having PCOS. In fact, I would even go far enough to say that the two conditions are not even really related, beyond the fact that some women with PCOS experience cysts as a symptom. Cysts are very common and usually they don't cause any problems, most women don't even know they have them.
