Hi Barbara-

I understand what you and your daughter are going through. I used to suffer migraines. They started when I was about 12 and lasted until I was on Glucophage. I used to get about three a month that would last a day or two at a time. Had a hard time keeping up with school and work.

Once I was diagnosed with PCOS at 34, I started taking Glucophage. Six months later, I stopped having migraines. Even during the six months that I still had migraines, they occurred less often and were of a lesser duration. I am now coming up on two years of migraine free living. I still get headaches sometimes but they are manageable.

I hope this helps. Maybe your daughter just needs to stay on Glucophage for a while more to see relief from migraines. Please feel free to write me if you have any more questions.
